Had the wired version about 5 months now and on the whole it works brilliant, (as long as you have the correct address) and it's a great time saver for me on my way to work, and less hassle than maps! A few points to make sure it works at it best are, don't put loads of software on the T3 you don't need its still a computer after all and it can conflict with the Tom Tom Software, also remember there is a reset button on the back and if you have any problem finding the satellite, the click the reset ... Rating: - Very good and far more reliable than the bluetooth version
I bought the bluetooth version and had real difficulties getting it to connect with the satellites, so I changed it for the wired version.
I had originally gone for the bluetooth one to avoid loads of wires hanging all over the dashboard, but I have to say that it's not nearly as messy as I expected.
As far as reliability is concerned, it's excellent. I have yet to experience any problems with satellite connectivity.

Rating: - Not quite straight from the box...
I got the Bluetooth version of this and immediately concluded that I'd bought the wrong thing - it couldn't connect reliably to the TomTom bluetooth receiver, it kept crashing the Palm and there was no way to add your own POIs. Happily though, TomTom have made a couple of free updates available which correct the major shortcomings and quirks and this is, belatedly, a seriously good piece of kit.
Rating:  - Great when it works
I read read some bad reviews concerning the Bluetooth version so I went for the cabled version.
When it worked it was great however of the six times I used it three times it couldn't find a satellite.
I'm not sure what the problem was but I think it might have been a faulty plug on the GPS unit.
When it worked it was very good and got me to my destination with no hassle.
I have now returned the item and have ordered the Bluetooth version with the hope that it works.
