Rating: - when will palm bring out the 650 with build in wifi and forget about windows mobile based phones
Ihave been using the Treo 650 now for more than 2 years,In the first few months i had some issues with the sound quality, but palm has taken care of that.
during those years i have tried other windows mobile based phones, but have always come back to the treo for the following reasons:
1. palm os is a way more stable operating system than mobile 5
2. battery life is way better than any windows based phone
3. very sturdy casing.
4. you can really operate the whole ... Read More
Rating: - A year with the Treo 650
I have had my Treo 650 for just over a year and it has been one of the best phones i've ever owned. I have had some minor headaches created from me trying to push it to it's limits. The only hardware issue ive had is that in recent weeks I have had problem with it taking a charge. The charger port onboard went bad. This gadget and its equivalents promise well for the future, but as business tools in the current nationwide, sub-3G comms network they really are for the anoraks rather than the essential user. Carrier pigeons would be quicker and less likely to get lost.
Rating: - Best smartphone but lacking flash memory
I bought a Treo 650 six months ago after extensive research. It has more than lived up to the promise. Within a few days it became an indispensable tool. If you need reliability, mail and web on the hoof look no further (Jan 2006). I've been a Palm user since the V so Treo was a logical upgrade but I was very resistant to losing handwriting software of Palm m515. My first comment is 'try using a tablet one handed to dial' which is why Treo has a keyboard. Excellent design and shape. Now texting much quicker ... Read More
