Rating: - A nice new palm with a few little difficulties
I bought this to replace an ageing Palm IIIxe and am well pleased with it. The wi-fi doesn't work as well as I'd like but I don't need it so its not much of an issue. The other main problem is the screen cover: the leather flap supplied with mine is ok but it doesn't offer as much protection as I'd like. The screen is bright and clear, the sockets on the bottom a little fiddley but they work well enough, Grafitti 2 is different from the original but it didn't take me long to adapt and a lot of it ... Rating: - Well I quite like it!
Have been using it for some months now and it meets all my needs. I haven't had any of the connection difficulties that the previous reviewer reported and it connected to my wi-fi and PoP email with very little difficulty. I sync via a usb cable rather than bluetooth but the bluetooth has had no problems connecting to other enabled devices. SD card works fine (2 gig) and I haven't noticed any particular lag on hand writing recognition. What I don't like is the same on all Palm's- no tool to encrypt ... Read More

I have been a big Palm fan so far, my last one being a Palm Tungsten E. Unfortunately, mobiles these days rarely still come with IR ports, and so I needed to upgrade my trusted Tungsten E to something capable of Bluetooth.
