Rating:  - Palm Treo Pro Smartphone
Excellent phone. Easy to use, but I have used a Palm pda before. Applications are great. Texting is easy.Plenty of downloads to find.
Rating: - Treo back on the road
I have been a Treo user for many years and my old 680 started to creak. Converted to a Treo PRO and cant say the initial experience was great but having persevered and with assistance from my mobile broker have conquered the beast. It's VERY VERY good and beats the competition (HTC, Blackberry) into cocked hats from experience of colleagues.
Rating:  - so nearly an excellent phone
This is my second PDA phone and while I like a lot of things about this phone, it has a number of key weaknesses.
My other PDA was also windows based, so I didn't find too many issues with using it. It is particularly useful for looking at e-mails. As a phone I don't have too many issues, the sound quality is fine, every now and again it cuts out or freezes, but again this is something I was used to, and I don't view it as being a particular issue. Rating: - Nice iPhone-like WM6 phone, fast & easy-to-type keyboard
Looks and feels like an iPhone (even the packaging), except it is running a much more serious OS, Windows Mobile. I have an iPhone as well but I found most productive tasks can only be done on the Treo Pro. Simple things such as creating a Calendar entry, viewing appointments in home screen, typing a SMS, making notes, running Java apps etc. are just more effective when you have a proper keyboard, copy & paste and be able to switch back and forth between different apps. iPhone is great for ... Rating: - Not a Blackberry
I have had a Treo Pro for over 2 weeks & have found the following -
Negatives - overly complicated, small keyboard, poor battery life, windows mobile
Positives - high quality, touchscreen, wifi
Having had a Blackberry for several years the Treo Pro is not as intuitive but has a wider range but is very complicated.
I will give it a few more weeks but not yet convinced.
